In 2011 Sara inherited a family archive of letters and photographs from her mother. This archive tells the story of Ken & Hazel, her uncle and aunt, and how it emerged early in their marriage, in 1958, that Ken was transgender. Sarah will discuss archival material as a basis for creating new work.
