Thurs–Fri 12:00–18:30 Sat–Sun 11:00–18:30 Diep~Haven is an annual cross-Channel festival of contemporary creation, a collaboration between an expanded region around the towns of Dieppe and Newhaven that aims to bring new and relevant works to these areas, reviving the artistic and intellectual connections that have historically linked them. Each year artists submit projects that both respond to a central theme and are grounded in the experience of this region and its inhabitants. The 2016 edition, Face to Face, explores how artists can give new meaning to the now commonplace act of taking a photographic portrait, and how, beyond photography, other media can be used as experimental tools to probe questions of identity and representation.
