The final BPF16 tour will be led by BPF Trainee Curator Ruby Rees-Sheridan. Ruby’s tour will explore some of the unusual venues that characterise the festival, taking in four different BPF16 exhibitions in the London Road area. Starting the tour in Rust Café at the top of London Road, the tour will visit Out: Portraits of Europe by Katya Edridge, then travel down the road to The Boat is Still by David Cundy at Duke of York’s Cinema, after which it will move to Alcampo Lounge to see Takeaway for One by John Fowler, followed by An Ark in the UK by George Coles at The Open Market.
This year there will be three Saturday morning tours devised by the BPF trainee curators taking a number of different routes around some of the 40 exhibitions in the festival.
Choose the tour that matches your interest or take them all.
It’s a wonderful way to explore the city and see a whole range of new photography.
